BEFORE THE SALE

The address will be published at 5 AM day of sale. The police will be called should you be seen on the property before 5 AM. Homes have someone onsite and are armed with alarm systems.

Prior to the sale, please call or email with specific questions and our office staff will do their best to answer. Once the sale has started, please text us with questions and we will respond when we can. Understand that shoppers at our sale are our first priority and we will not hold items based on a phone call. 

 

PRICING

We DO NOT offer pre-sales, previews or pricing prior to opening a sale.

Credit/Debit cards (Chip only) may be available depending on internet services. Cash is always excepted. Sales Tax will be collected unless you provide a valid reseller permit with the State of Washington.

Prices are not negotiable on the first day. All items are 50% off on the second day, unless otherwise stated.

All items are sold as-is. Please inspect all items before purchase, and any electronics, test before you purchase. We offer no guarantees, refunds or exchanges – all sales are final.

 

SHOPPING THE SALE

All items purchased are “You-Haul”. We do not offer loading assistance. Please bring your own wrap, bags, boxes and help to move furniture and items purchased. Our staff WILL NOT help move items.

Girlfriends Estate Sales is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that happen onsite during the sale.

We operate on a first come first served basis; the first people to arrive will be the first in the sale. We limit the number of people in the home in intervals to ensure your shopping safety. If you arrive early or if there are a large number of attendees at the sale, you will need to wait in line to gain entry into the sale via “The List”.

“The List”:

A list may be used to keep track of your place in line. The list may not be posted before 5 AM on the first day of the sale. Shoppers in line control the list. Girlfriends Estate Sales staff may use the list to manage entry to the sale.

Please bring your own boxes or bags to shop the sale. We provide a holding area for items you are purchasing, you must purchase the items you put in the hold area. We will mark items in the hold area “SOLD” and write your name.

 

BID CARDS

With some items we allow bidding, please ask the checkout attendant for a bid card. All bids must be 50% of the price marked. Successful bidders will be notified after the first sale day ends. The winning bidder must make arrangements to pay for and pick up the item the next morning. Please do not bid on an item unless you intend to honor your bid! If the winning bidder cannot pick up the item it will be offered to the next highest bidder or placed back in the sale and offered again to the public.
